Relationships and Sex Education
Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)
Relationships and Sex Education is delivered in all classes as part of the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum at Greenbank School. It is delivered on through carefully planned and resourced activities that develop the knowledge, skills and attributes our students will need to protect and enhance their understanding of themselves and others. Through weekly lessons, and targeted activities throughout the curriculum, students will learn how to make safe and healthy choices, build and maintain successful relationships and become active citizens who can responsibly and confidently participate within the communities they belong to.
The aims of relationships and sex education (RSE) at Greenbank School are to:

- Help students to develop feelings of self-respect, confidence and empathy.
- Create a positive culture around issues of diversity and relationships.
- Enable students to acquire the appropriate knowledge, develop their skills and to form positive beliefs, values and attitudes.
